On Thursday April 21st, graduate students, community members, UT faculty and staff, and other supporters attended the CONNECT Community Showcase event at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. For the first time since its beginning in 2019, participants in the CONNECT program gathered to learn about the impact current and former CONNECT fellow work has made on organizations that have a data challenge.

Moreau had the chance to teach this course to a group of graduate students through the LBJ School. An LBJ alumnus himself, he remembers wanting to soak up practical information as a graduate student that would help prepare him for a career in the nonprofit sector.

Join us in celebrating our summer 2021 gradutes of the Nonprofit Studies portfolio program. The portfolio program is open to any graduate student at The University of Texas at Austin and is home to more than 500 alumni across the globe.

Allison Hooks is our newest recipient of the Ronya and George Kozmetsky Fellowship in Philanthropy and Community Service. An Austin native, Allison will be joining the MPAff/MBA dual degree program in fall 2021.

Wes and Savin Ven Johnson attended the LBJ School of Public Affairs and graduated from the MGPS program in 2012.

The Kozmetsky Fellowships are competitive full-tuition scholarships awarded to students pursuing a career in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector. A critical goal of the fellowship is to reduce the debt burden of students entering the nonprofit field.
