Wendy Biro-Pollard, Certified Governance Consultant with BoardSource

Wendy Biro-Pollard is a Certified BoardSource Governance Trainer and Consultant. After completing a rigorous application process, she joined a select group of professionals who deliver BoardSource's signature nonprofit governance training throughout the U.S.

Wendy calls receiving this certification "a culmination and validation of my skills in the nonprofit arena. Many people who join boards have not had the training that they need to succeed in this role. The certification allows me to keep following my passion for working with volunteers while helping to ensure their success."

Wendy has led hundreds of workshops, seminars, retreats, and webinars for individuals in the public and private sector, for state and national associators and for national service and faith-based programs. For over a decade, Wendy served on the national training team for AmeriCorps VISTA and provided training services for Temple University’s Center for Intergenerational Learning, boomer volunteer initiative. She served on the national board and as president of a state association of healthcare volunteer directors. Wendy is an adjunct faculty member for Nonprofit Austin at Austin Community College. She and her dog, Pearl, are Divine Canines volunteers bringing comfort and good cheer to individuals at nonprofits and universities in the Austin area.

Light refreshments will be provided. Parking validation available for Manor Garage.
