Project Manager for Data Initiatives
Jun Zhong manages the CONNECT Program's data initiatives, including the program’s data mining and language processing projects. He is a former CONNECT fellow with the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation. As a fellow with Dell, he helped develop a machine learning initiative for the National Scholarship Providers Association. Following his fellowship, Jun continued working at the Dell Foundation, supporting its data engineering and data curation processes.
Jun is currently a Master of Computer Science candidate at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Jun has also served on the board of Stiles Hall, an education nonprofit.
