What We Do

Graduate Portfolio in Nonprofit Studies

Portfolio students develop specialized skills in nonprofit management, philanthropy, and social impact, preparing them to lead and address complex global challenges across sectors. Graduate students from across the UT Austin campus with an interest in learning about the social sector are encouraged to join.

Executive Education Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship

The Social Entrepreneurship Certificate at the LBJ School equips professionals with tools to enhance social impact in a unique, no-cost program supported by the RGK Center. This program is developed in partnership with Suzanne Smith of Social Impact Architects.

Our faculty are experts in research areas including nonprofit management and governance, volunteerism, network analysis, program evaluation, philanthropy, and more. Our research initiatives are focused on helping the nonprofit leaders of today and tomorrow make informed and innovative contributions to the public good.

The Nonprofit Studies Graduate Portfolio is an opportunity for graduate students at UT Austin to develop specialized skills in social finance, nonprofit management, philanthropy, cultural policy, social marketing and community collaboration. 

Students ready to make a difference in the world can advance their journey with the Gradaute Portfolio in Nonprofit Studies and with the RGK Center community of colleagues and faculty.
